CAMP - Goblin Lanyard
It is not necessary to use a shock absorbing lanyard with this device, it is recommended to use the Camp Goblin lanyard, which can be bought with the device. A cowstail would be a satisfactory alternative however.
The lanyard is 26cm long and will require 2 connectors, one to attach the lanyard to the Goblin and one to attach the lanyard to the harness. Karabiners not included.
The lanyard now comes with the Camp Golin Rope Surfer. This holds the Goblin karabiner upright and helps to maintain smooth movement up and down the rope without any accidental lock ups. The rope surfer snaps off the rope in the case of a main line failure and the fall is arrested.
